Halifax County authorities were searching Friday for a 24-year-old man accused of statutory rape.
Jerry Jerome Richardson, of Hollister, had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl, detectives with the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said.

Richardson was two misdemeanor convictions for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, according to state Division of Adult Correction records.
