MIKE MOSS SAYS:     Matt,  We do not maintain "record" readings for the WRAL station itself, since we are not the official "station of record" in climatological terms for Raleigh. Instead, the most complete record set readily available is for the Raleigh-Durham airport, along with some longer-history information for a few NWS Cooperative Observer sites around the area.

To help in your research, I'd recommend these two sites.

First, the National Weather Service Raleigh office maintains a list of records for the RDU airport that you can access through

http://www.weather.gov/climate/local_data.php?wfo=rah

Another good source is the Southeast Regional Climate Center (SERCC), where you'll find a clickable map of NC stations, including many smaller cooperative locations, at

http://www.sercc.com/climateinfo/historical/historical_nc.html

When you click on a station here, you can scroll to the bottom of the left hand side of the screen to a link called "Daily Summary Stats" to find just the kind of info you're looking for. Good luck!
