Train hits, kills one in Smithfield

Smithfield police said a train struck and killed an adult at the East Peedin Road railroad crossing around 6:15 a.m. Sunday.

Smithfield police said a train struck and killed a man at the East Peedin Road railroad crossing around 6:15 a.m. Sunday.

Police identified the deceased as Franklin Conales, 38, of Smithfield.
