Mark your calendars because Triangle Restaurant Week is set for June 4.

One of my favorite times of the year, TRW is when local places offer special three-course prix-fixe menus at discounted prices. Menus range from $15 at lunch to between $20 and $30 for dinner.

It is a great excuse to try a new restaurant or visit an old favorite.

More than 70 restaurants participated in 2012's first TRW in January.
