Father Enters Guilty Plea In Cumberland Child Abuse Case

A father has entered a guilty plea in a Cumberland County child abuse case.

Michael Green pleaded guilty Friday to second-degree murder in the death of his 5-year-old son, Jared. Authorities say Jared was beaten, bound and left in a chair for 31 hours before he died in January 2001.

Green was sentenced to at least 14 years in prison.

Alexandra Goehl, Green's girlfriend, pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder. She was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison.
