Assault Charges Dropped Against Former UNC Star Forte

Assault charges were dropped Monday against former UNC basketball star Joseph Forte.

Forte was accused punching UNC football player James Gibson during a pick-up basketball game last May.

Both Forte and Gibson reached a confidential settlement and the judge dismissed the assault charges.
