The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close the southbound U.S. 1 exit ramp at N.C. 55 in Wake County Thursday from 7 a.m until 1 p.m.

Southbound U.S. 1 motorists needing to travel on N.C. 55 should use the following signed detour:
