Save up to $300 on purchase of efficient appliances

The program that offers North Carolina consumers savings on the purchase of efficient appliances got new funding, allowing for another round of rebates.

Customers can qualify for a rebate of $75 to $300 on the purchase of central air conditioners, washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, heat pumps, gas furnaces or water heaters.

Any purchase after Jan. 1 is eligible.

Fill out an online form with the make and model, date and place of purchase and price paid to qualify for money back via a prepaid Visa card. Rebates will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those without Internet access can apply for rebates by calling 1-855-208-6242.
