Durham Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A Durham man was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon.

According to police, 31-year-old Eric Rankin lost control of his motorcycle on Grandale Drive. He was thrown from the bike and into a tree.

Rankin was pronunced dead at the scene. Investigators said he was wearing a helmet.
