Some Henderson Cars To Get Free Trip To Junkyard

Some old cars in Henderson are about to get a free ride to the junkyard.

A citizen's group had been looking for ways to get rid of abandoned and junked cars in neighborhoods since many homeowners cannot afford hauling costs.

The city now has an arrangement with wrecker services to tow at no charge. In return, the companies keep the money they get from salvage yards.

The towing will begin in a few weeks.
