Hillsborough Power Outage Planned For Monday Night

Duke Power officials plan to temporarily interrupt electric service to most of Hillsborough and the Duke service area in northeast Orange County.

The outage is expected to be for about an hour from 11:30 p.m. Monday to 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials plan to replace equipment in the substation and improve reliability to more than 3,100 customers.
