Hope Mills Gets Financial Help For Flood Damage

One Cumberland County town soaked by flooding around Memorial Day will get some much needed financial help.

This week, the Council of State approved nearly $5 million in relief money for Hope Mills.

The state money will help pay to repair a dam, a bridge and roads.

The disaster relief, however, will not go to homeowners.
