Owen Drive Project Appears To Be Moving Forward In Fayetteville

A plan to make it easier to get to Fayetteville's Crown Coliseum is on track again.

Permits for the Owen Drive Extension were denied three times because of wetland issues.

State officials say a new plan looks good and things are now moving ahead.

The $7.6 million roadway would extend Owen Drive from Highway 301 to East Mountain Drive. Final permits should be issued in about a year.
