Two people were hurt Wednesday when a car driven by a Chapel Hill police officer hit them.

Two pedestrians were crossing West Franklin Street, heading north, when the collision occurred, Chapel Hill police said.
They were transported to UNC Hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The collision is under investigation.
