Downtown Cary To Get Improvements

Downtown Cary is getting some upgrades.

The Town Council approved a $3.7 million plan to begin improving the look of downtown streets and sidewalks.

The overhaul includes street trees and plantings, lighting, street furniture, crosswalks, roundabouts, gateways, public art and the creation of a new Town Square.

Consultants currently estimate total project construction costs to be around $20 million.
