An Islamic group claims security measures are going too far.
Dr. Shahid Mahmood, of Roxboro, recently was denied re-entry into the United States after a trip to his native Pakistan.

According to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Mahmood and his family were turned away at Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C., because they didn't register their trip.
The group said they were told to re-apply for a new work visa, which could take months.
