Johnston County Authorities Make Meth Bust

Johnston County authorities have arrested two men and a woman for allegedly possessing and selling methamphetamine.

The arrests occurred at approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday. Taken into custody were Timothy Lee Stephenson, Regina Mitchell and Brandon Stephenson -- all of the Kenly area.

The suspects remained in the Johnston County jail on Thursday on secured bonds ranging from $60,000 to $500,000. All three face charges that include several counts of possession and sale of Schedule 2 controlled substances.

Authorities said this is the second arrest in the last four months for Stephenson relating to the same offenses.
