A Zebulon woman accused of running down a Wilson teenager made her first court appearance Monday.
Mattie O'Neal, 74, told police she thought she had hit a pothole last Sunday night, so she kept driving.

Raheem Kelly, 15, died in the incident and his friend was injured.
Police say O'Neal was driving home from a church service when it happened.
Police say she does not have a criminal history.
