DOT To Temporarily Close U.S. 70 Ramp In Durham County

Officials with the state Department of Transportation will temporarily close the U.S. 70 ramp onto Interstate 85 South in Durham County on Thursday.

The closing will be in place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists needing to access I-85 South from U.S 70 West can use the following detour route: I-85 North ramp to Club Boulevard to I-85 South.

Police will be directing traffic through the detour route.
