Fayetteville Police Charge Four Suspects In Series Of Robberies

Fayetteville detectives have arrested four men suspected of committing a series of robberies of cab drivers and food-delivery drivers.

According to police, the men are suspects in 12 robberies over a period of three months.

The suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Detoine Lavar Wortham, 19-year-old Perry Rashawn Campbell, 17-year-old Jamill General and 17-year-old Terrance Justice McGathy.

Wortham has been charged with five counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Campbell has been charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

General has been charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.

McGathy has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, which was related to one of the robberies committed by the other three suspects.

Police say the victims of the crimes were robbed of money, vehicles and food.
