Luebke wins District 30; Micheaux takes District 31

In early voting results, democrat Paul Luebke was elected to the State House, District 30, in North Carolina.

Democrat H.M. (Mickey) Michaux was elected to State House, District 31, in North Carolina.

Meanwhile, the race for Wake County Sheriff was virtually a dead heat with 96 percent of the precincts reporting. Donnie Harrison was ahead of John Baker by fewer than 1,000 votes.
