Blood At Church Leads Wake Authorities To Suspect

A man accused of breaking into a Wake County church appeared in court Monday.

Sheriff's deputies say Corey Schneider broke into Ernest Myatt Presbyterian Church and stole a computer and some church bells.

Deputies say Schneider cut himself during the break-in and left blood behind, which helped authorities with their investigation.

Schneider was given a court-appointed attorney. Bond was set at $25,000.
