Owner Of Wilson Speedway Continues To Improve After Being Shot

The owner of a Wilson County speedway who was shot during a home invasion continues to improve.

George Brewer is in stable condition with three gunshot wounds.

Officials from the sheriff's office are still looking for two suspects, but they may have a break in the case. Detectives in Perquimans County, which is on the coast, say a racetrack owner there had his house broken into.

Authorities are checking to see if the break-ins are connected.
