Rescue Mission Purchasing Durham Inn

The Durham Rescue Mission is expanding.

The organization is buying the Durham Inn off Interstate 85. The group plans to pay $750,000 for the building and call it the Good Samaritan Inn.

The old motel will serve as an overnight shelter for women and children.

The Durham Rescue Mission hopes to renovate the place and open the doors for business sometime next year.
