Cary Eases On Watering Restrictions

Cary is easing up on its watering restrictions.

The

alternate day watering program

is still in effect, but residents can now water their lawns everyday with hand-held hoses and pails.

The restrictions were put into place two years ago because of a water shortage, but the recent expansion of the Cary-Apex water treatment plant has taken care of the water problem.
