Volunteers with Greater Fayetteville Futures have come up with strategies to make the city a better place to live and work.
Last month, after a lengthy study, the grass roots organization

identified three goals
for the community which include image, economic development and leveraging military opportunities.
On Friday, hundreds of volunteers gathered to create a 100-day action plan to make the goals a reality.
"We've thought of everything from creating a brand identity for Fayetteville to training hospitality workers. So there's a lot that we want to do in the first 100 days, and I think we'll see results there," volunteer Denise Ryan said.
It is not too late to suggest a strategy for one of the three goals.
