Cumberland County investigators are searching for the person who set fire to a school Monday morning.

Seventy-First Classical Middle School
despite a fire there early Monday morning.
Just before 7 a.m., a secretary arriving at the school noticed flames and smoke coming from a room by the cafeteria.
The fire was contained to that room, but smoke spread throughout the hallway.
Investigators said that they suspected arson after finding a window that had been broken. They also found evidence of an accelerant.
Crimestoppers is now offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
