NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A former student shot through the doors of a Christian elementary school Monday and killed three children and three adults after elaborately planning the massacre by drawing out a detailed map and conducting surveillance of the building, police said.

November 5, 2020, What do you remember about that night? So um I got I was supposed to get induced that night and um of course I was just kind of stressed out and you know like I have all my bags packed but we're just kind of waiting around for because the hospital will call you when they don't you don't just go at a certain time, they'll say they'll call you and say okay come at 10 or 11, so um I was just kind of nervous, I wasn't really hungry and um then we got the call and um you know I I remembered that like once they induce you you you won't get to eat again for a while and so I was like well I want some food like what? And that's like well what would make you like feel the best right now? And I said cheese sticks and so we're like where can we get cheese sticks at this time? And then I'm like Arby's and um and so I got cheese sticks and a J maca milkshake, which is really delicious, highly recommended. And then didn't we get something else, We got jalapeno poppers, and a diet coke and it just it just kind of as we were at the drive thru line and just kind of more food was added, more food was added, more food was added and then we finally walked out and we had several bags and we were on our way to rex but right after, you know we put after, you gotta remember after we got out of the drive because you're just so nervous like this was our first child. So we're just like, you know, we're just kind of sitting there, we pull over like I don't want to eat this on the road, like I want to enjoy my last meal as not a parent like here in this parking lot. So we just pulled over and I started eating it and we started laughing and then it was kind of a rainy night and and I think that's when he took the picture of the R. V. Sign and it was like shiny and beautiful and you know, I just was like okay, you know, I've had my tooth sticks, we can go to rex now. Yeah, I have a tendency to stop on the side of the road and take pictures of my wife, has a lot of patience with that. But even that night she she I literally finished right out of the drive thru line and just walked right over because it was it was really a chili crisp night and I remember just pulling out and just being right in the middle of the drive thru line taking a picture and she's like would you please come on and she was patient. But yeah, so that's what happened Matthew what compelled you to do that. Well um I'm a teach photography at in low and I am a photographer and I take tons of photos of everything I see and sometimes I'll lament and wish I had taken more photos of things in Raleigh. But um I just I'm always into photography. I gets my passion. Yeah, he's really artsy, he sees things and like he said like a lot some of the times I'm like come on like we need to go like stop taking all these pictures. But I'm really glad in the long run that he does take so many pictures Julia. This question is for you, what's your feeling now that your husband had the foresight to take that picture and to know now that you know that sign no longer exists there? How do you feel about that? I mean I'm so glad that he took the picture. You know, like um at the time I wanted him to hurry up. But now like, you know, I always have my own memories of the sign. But also like I have a picture that I can look back at and say I was hearing the R. V. Sign was here and there wasn't any other armies that had and we don't even like Arby's that like we don't regularly eat. You know, it's not like we're Arby's obsessed people that particular Arby's and on that particular night agreed. We've never pulled off the side of the road on any trip and then like oh we gotta have our bees but something about that one. I don't know what the for me and the jalapeno poppers
