Apex Walmart evacuated after bomb threat

Apex, N.C. — A Walmart in Apex was evacuated Monday because of a bomb threat, police said.

Someone called the store around 7 p.m. and told an employee that a person dropped a bomb in the store, police said.

The employee told her manager, who notified police.

The State Bureau of Investigation determined the threat was not credible.
