Apex police search for two runaways
Police said Sunday that they are searching for two Apex teens who ran away on Friday.

Brianna Gruber, 14, and Roberto Aguilar, 15, both left notes stating that they were running away together, police said. Investigators said they have no reason to believe that the pair, who were last seen Friday at Apex High School, didn't leave of their own accord.
Gruber is described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 140 to 150 pounds, with brown hair.
Aguilar is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds, with black hair.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Detective Stephen Russell of the Apex Police Department at 919-362-8661 or their local law enforcement agency. People can also text information to TIP411 using keyword APEXPD.
