Apex man facing second degree forcible rape, kidnapping charges
The Fuquay-Varina Police Department said a man has been arrested and is charged with second degree forcible rape and kidnapping.

APEX, N.C. — The Fuquay-Varina Police Department said a man has been arrested and is charged with second degree forcible rape and kidnapping.
A warrant for arrest was issued to Brendan Scott Paez, 33, of 1788 Town Home Dr. in Apex. Police said he kidnapped and raped a person who was 21. The incident happened on Aug. 6 at around 1:30 a.m. inside the women's bathroom at the Triple Barrel Tavern.
Paez was held at the Wake County Justice Center under a $350,000 secured bond.
