The annual 301 Endless Yard Sale that takes place in 5 different North Carolina counties from Weldon to Dunn, is happening this Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15th! You'll find over 100 miles of vendors offering deals, antiques, collectibles, crafts and more.

Dates: Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15, 2019
Hours: 7 am to 5 pm each day
Location: Shop in the communities along US Hwy 301 beginning in Weldon, through Rocky Mount, on to Wilson and the towns in Johnston County (Kenly, Micro, Selma, Smithfield, Four Oaks and Benson) and down to Dunn, NC.

The sale was founded in Selma and now takes place in multiple towns located along US 301. The counties that host this sale include Johnston, Halifax, Wilson, Nash, and Harnett. the annual 301 Endless Yard Sale takes place the 3rd Friday and Saturday of June annually.

According to the Johnston County Visitors Bureau, this is the 7th year of the sale and "the event attracts over 15,000 shoppers, and over 1,000 vendors. People often stay overnight in the area to take advantage of the two full days of the sale, and hopefully cover the entire 100+ miles. Over 18,000 people follow the Facebook page and the months leading up to the event find shoppers, vendors, past participants, and first-time attendee enthusiastically reacting to and sharing posts.

The four other participating counties also have visitors bureaus that work with the Johnston County Visitors Bureau to plan and promote the sale by managing the website and the social media for the sale, "We're also responsible for the posters, brochures, and billboards you see in the region," said Ashby Brame, Marketing & PR Manager for the Johnston County Visitors Bureau, "But, we're just the middleman. The vendors work with local businesses to set-up booth space and the shoppers come to buy from the vendors. Really, we could probably step out of the way and everyone would still show up. People are very enthusiastic about this sale. And it's great for local businesses and the economy."

Along the route, beyond the vendor booths, are quaint southern restaurants, ancillary local retail stores, and locally-owned hotels that benefit from the thousands of shoppers making their way down US Hwy 301 in June. Shoppers interested in participating on the 14th and 15th, as well as people interested in being a vendor along the route, can visit www.301endlessyardsale.com or like the Facebook page."
