Angry NC customer stabs 16-year-old Jimmy John's employee, police say

A customer is accused of stabbing a 16-year-old employee at Jimmy John's in High Point.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A customer is accused of stabbing a 16-year-old employee at Jimmy John's in High Point.

Demetris Holeman, 45, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and injury to real property for the damages to the store.

Employees told police that she threw several items at the teen employee after insisting that her order was wrong.
A High Point Police Department spokesperson said Holeman had been previously refused service due to her behavior. Police told WXII that she was on the store's "do not serve" list.

First responders took the teen to a hospital in Greensboro with serious injuries. Police said the teen is expected to recover.
