CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — An ambulance flipped over on an Orange County road Saturday, injuring four people, state troopers said.

Trooper D.L. Meets said that a patient and three medical workers were injured when the ambulance overturned on N.C. Highway 86, near New Hope Church Road, around noon.

The four suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Meets said that driver caused the wreck. He said the driver over-corrected when the ambulance ran off the right side of the road, causing the vehicle to flip over.
