Johnston County, N.C. — An ambulance was hit by a vehicle while responding to a call Friday afternoon on N.C. Highway 210 in Johnston County.
The crash impact flipped the ambulance on Old Fairgrounds Road, near the Johnston-Harnett county line, authorities said.
The ambulance then hit a SUV, authorities said.
Three emergency workers were inside the ambulance at the time of the crash. They were transported to WakeMed.
Paramedics also took a total of three people from inside the other two vehicles to the hospital.
The injuries of all those involved appeared to be non-life-threatening, authorities said.
Authorities said the ambulance driver might have gone through the intersection before it was clear.
No charges will be filed in the wreck, authorities said.
