<b>MOUNT AIRY, N.C.</b> — An Amber Alert was canceled Sunday afternoon for 12-year-old Anthony Manuel Diaz after the child was found safe, authorities said.

The Amber Alert was issued earlier Sunday for Diaz, described as a 12-year-old Hispanic male who stands approximately 4 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 78 pounds.

Diaz, last seen at 916 Willow Street, has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing blue and gray pajamas with a shark on the shirt.
