<b>BREVARD, N.C.</b> — <strong>Update: </strong>Authorities said that Dixie Mae Bailey was found safe Wednesday.

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday afternoon for a 15-year-old girl reported missing in Brevard.

Dixie Mae Bailey is described as being white, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 114 pounds. She has brown hair with orange streaks and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a peach-colored pullover, black tights and cowboy boots.

Authorities believe she may be enroute to Atlanta, Ga. with friend Aleah Lecreaux.
