Greensboro baby found safe; authorities looking for man, vehicle

Police said Nora Starr Grant, a Black female with brown hair and black eyes, was in a car that was stolen from 2435 Randleman Road in Greensboro around 9:30 Friday night.

Amber Alert: Man, VW Tiguan linked to child's abduction
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Hours after authorities issued an Amber Alert, a 5-month-old girl from Greensboro was found safe. Police notified her parents and were arranging a reunion.

Police said Nora Starr Grant, a Black female with brown hair and black eyes, was in a car that was stolen from 2435 Randleman Road in Greensboro around 9:30 Friday night.

Nora Starr Grant is a 5-month-old black female, approximately 2 feet  5 inches tall, weighing 28 pounds.   She has black hair, and brown eyes.   Last seen wearing pink onesie with red & white flower designs.

Police released a surveillance image of the man reported to have taken the child in a black 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan with NC license tag number HFK-2105.

After the child was found, authorities continued to search for him and the car. He was last seen wearing a blue athletic sweatshirt, blue jeans, white socks and blue Nike slides.

The Amber Alert did not make clear any relationship between the man and the child or the reason for the alleged kidnapping.
