Amazon is selling onesies for your dog to help with shedding, anxiety

According to the Amazon listing, the bodysuit prevents dogs from "leaving a trail of hair" at home or in the car. Additionally, its snug fit can help calm some dogs who struggle with anxiety, according to creators.

The suit ranges from $39.99 for a mini size and $57.99 for XXL dogs. It comes in black, pink, purple, red and blue.

The product got 4.5 starts from 377 Amazon reviewers, many who shared photos of their own dogs wearing the suit.

"I absolutely love this product," wrote on reviewer who gave the Shed Defender five stars. "It fit my pug perfectly. He has allergies and I use it to prevent him from chewing on his lower legs and the inside of his thighs. It's the only bodysuit that covers his complete body."

"Now she equates the red pjs with a ride in the car and stands patiently while we slip them on," another reviewer posted. "And I'm a happy camper because my new car isn't full of dog hair."

According to the Shed Defender, the suit is veterinarian-approved and made out of lightweight, stretchy fabric. It can also help to prevent ticks, keep pets warm in the winter and even serve in place of a cone to prevent dogs from licking wounds or surgery sites.

It can be hard to find dog clothes that fit larger dogs, but a customer posted that the XL was a bit large on his Siberian Husky, indicating that most breeds should be able to fit into the Shed Defender.
