When Jeffrey was 22 months old, he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest that caused him to go 20 minutes without adequate oxygen to his brain. From that point on, Susan's dedication to her brother hasn't wavered. We just kind of always have had that special close bond. A bond only strengthened. Come on Jeffrey as they click off the kilometers. We were trying to figure out a sport or after school activity he could participate in with me. Susan took a cue from her parents, both runners who have included Geoffrey in their races. He loves running but Susan on grass, pushing more than her own body weight through his season's worth of races and practices. This is really unprecedented with coach Roger skiffs to. Yeah, I was worried. We were all worried. Everyone worried. But Susan isn't that hearing everyone's screaming and cheering, It gives me a very big adrenaline rush. Come on, you got it, recognizing the mental and physical strength. Susan's mom suggested maybe run alone. She looked at me as if I had grown two heads, just like this is not an option. This says Susan is a team. Come on, come on, Jeffrey, let's go. Sometimes I'll look down because I'm going up the hill and I'll see him smiling. Come on, Jack, where are you? Good morning. I'm meteorologist, Brian Schrader in the WRL severe weather center, we saw some showers and a couple of rumbles of thunder south of the triangle overnight. We're going to see that moving out of here as we head through the morning hours, but we're gonna hang on to the clouds. We'll call it mostly cloudy today. We could see some peaks of sun though, late this afternoon in a few spots. Highs today in the mid seventies enjoy that warm weather because it is out of here for Sunday. Here's a look at the big picture, cold front, moved through the area. It's settled to our south and we're going to be tracking low pressure riding along that front that will generate some rain for tomorrow. Now, here's a look at Future Cast Day and you see as we put it into motion through the rest of the morning into the afternoon, we hang on to those clouds, maybe a few breaks in the clouds around four or five o'clock later this afternoon. But also note in our southern counties, this version of Futurecast has some showers popping up. So I want to keep that in mind South of the triangle. Late this afternoon into the evening, you could see some showers and then as we head overnight, Saturday into Sunday, we'll start to see rain developing. Here's futurecast for tomorrow and the afternoon light rain throughout the entire viewing area looks pretty wet all the way through the afternoon and into the evening, this particular version of Futurecast has the rain clearing out of here, late Sunday night and early Monday morning leaving us with clear skies for Monday. Here's a look at our seven day forecast tomorrow. The rain is going to be a big story but also the much cooler temperatures. You see that high there of 61 that's probably going to happen at midnight behind that cold. We're going to see those temperatures falling through the day afternoon, temperatures tomorrow likely will be in the low to mid 50. So definitely a different feel for tomorrow. And then with clearing and warmer weather Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we get a little closer to normal in terms of temperature as we head to the end of next week. We're watching a front. The question is, does the front stall near us or does it clear on through that will determine our shower chances? But overall, it looks like a pretty nice week.
