Alison Krauss, Vince Gill to play MerleFest 25

The annual festival celebrates the memory of musician Eddy Merle Watson, son of American music icon Doc Watson. Watson will take the stage during MerleFest again this year.

MerleFest, which is celebrating its 25th year, have announced the lineup for this year's four-day bluegrass festival on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro. 

Here's a look at some of the 90 acts performing on 14 stages during MerleFest April 26-29: Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, Vince Gill, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, Jim Lauderdale, Steep Canyon Rangers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Chris Thile with the Punch Brothers, Sam Bush, John Hammond, David Holt, Jerry Douglas, Los Lobos, Nashville Bluegrass Band, Tony Rice Peter Rowan, Marty Stuart and Tut Taylor.
