Grammy winner Alicia Keys is among three famous faces expected to visit North Carolina to rally for President Barack Obama in the coming days before the election.

The Obama campaign said Keys will attend early voting rallies Friday in Raleigh and Greensboro. She will head to Greensboro first for a 2 p.m. rally at North Carolina A&T University’s student union. Then she will attend a rally at Chavis Park Baseball Field in Raleigh. The rally is from 4 to 5:30 p.m., and Keys is scheduled to appear at 5 p.m.

Also on Friday, the Rev. Jesse Jackson is scheduled to appear at North Carolina Central University in Durham as keynote speaker of a Get Out the Vote rally. The event, at 11 a.m. in the campus auditorium, will be followed by a similar event at UNC-Chapel Hill at 2 p.m.

Jill Biden and Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden will speak at rallies in Asheville and Huntersville on Sunday. Jill Biden was in Cary, Greensboro and south Charlotte about two weeks ago.
