RALEIGH, N.C. — Alamo Drafthouse Raleigh is marking the release of Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation with a movie party.

The party starts at 10:15 a.m., Saturday, July 14. That's 45 minutes before the 11 a.m. screening of the PG-rated animated movie. During the party, movie goers can take part in themed games, hands-on crafts and activities. With the purchase of tickets through July 22 to see this third installment of the Hotel Transylvania series at Alama Drafthouse, you'll also be entered into a contest to win a cruise to the Bahamas.

Here's a synopsis of the movie:

Running an establishment like Hotel Transylvania takes its toll on a vampire, and to top it all off, Count Dracula is lonely. Taking a break from providing vacations to the public, Drac’s family drags him on a Monster Cruise, for rest, relaxation, and reanimation. But when the Count falls for the ship’s captain, things take a dark turn, for Captain Ericka holds a secret identity that could threaten monsters everywhere. Dracula, Mavis, and the whole monster family return in Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. The entire voice cast is reprising their roles, including Adam Sandler and Selena Gomez.

Alama Drafthouse also has lots of other family events lined up, including sensory-friendly movies and a kids camp. The theater's website has more information.

The theater, which opened in Raleigh in late April, is at 2116-D New Bern Ave.
