Alamance County man charged with 19 counts sexual exploitation of minor

An Alamance County man is facing 19 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

SNOW CAMP, N.C. — An Alamance County man is facing 19 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Deputies with the Alamance County Sheriff's Office said Andrew Lee Pratt of 6261 N. Preacher Roberson Rd. in Snow Camp was arrested on Tuesday. The arrest was made with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations.

Officials said they received an online tip about child porn being uploaded to the internet from the address. While conducting a search warrant, investigators discovered numerous electronic devices, which have been seized.

Investigators also said they found and rescued several dogs and cats that needed medical attention. They were taken to the Burlington Animal Adoption Center. They also found a feline carcass in a state of decay that had not been properly disposed, in violation of state law.

Pratt, 31, is facing 18 counts of felony third degree sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of felony second degree sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of misdemeanor cruelty to animals and one count of misdemeanor failure to properly dispose of domesticated animal carcass. He is being held under a $1.35 million secured bond.
