Aladdin, Mean Girls headed to DPAC for upcoming Broadway season

A genie and some mean girls are headed to Durham Performing Arts Center for the 2019-2020 SunTrust Broadway season, the venue announced Saturday night.

A genie and some mean girls are headed to Durham Performing Arts Center for the 2019-2020 SunTrust Broadway season, the venue announced Saturday night.

The season, dubbed "The Magic of Broadway," will include:

  • Disney’s Aladdin: Oct. 2 – 26, 2019
  • A Bronx Tale: Nov. 5 - 10, 2019
  • Come From Away: Jan. 14 - 19, 2020
  • Mean Girls: Feb. 11-16, 2020
  • The Band's Visit: April 7-12, 2020
  • Escape to Margaritaville: April 28-May 3, 2020
  • My Fair Lady: May 19-24, 2020
  • Jesus Christ Superstar: June 2-7, 2020

Also coming up this season, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, which will be on stage Dec. 3-8. Season Seat Members will have a chance to add this show to their ticket package. The public on-sale date for White Christmas will be announced at a later date.

Season Seat Members have until May 31 to renew memberships. New season seats will go one sale in late June. Tickets for Aladdin are on sale now, but tickets for remaining shows will go on sale in late summer.
