Raleigh, N.C. — The N.C. Division of Air Quality forecast that ozone in the Triangle could make breathing difficult for some people Wednesday.
A Code Orange is in effect for the Triangle, Triad and Charlotte due to elevated levels of air pollution.
People who are sensitive to air pollution – including the very young, the very old or those with lung conditions – should limit outdoor activity under Code Orange conditions, especially in the hottest parts of the day.
