Raleigh, N.C. — The weekend's weather will combine springlike and winter weather.
Friday morning had temperatures in the 40s in central North Carolina, and after a few showers Thursday night, visibility was mostly clear.
"Today really looks nice," WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said.
Saturday morning will be a good time to be outside, Elizabeth Gardner said. The day will be cloudy, and rain will hit in the evening. Temperatures will be in the high 50s.
Saturday night will be warm, and scattered thunderstorms are possible. There's a 90 percent chance of rain.
Sunday will start with highs in the 50s, too, but a cold front will bring in wind that makes temperatures drop to the 30s.
Monday will be much colder, with highs in the mid-30s. It will be partly cloudy, so there aren't concerns about wintry precipitation.
Temperatures will climb back up to the high 50s and low 60s by Wednesday.
