After mild Saturday, chance for severe weather arrives Sunday
Saturday morning may begin with a few showers, but by the afternoon it should be pleasant and mild with highs in the 60s. Sunday evening and Monday morning bring potential for severe weather, including damaging winds and isolated tornadoes -- followed by a cold front that could bring snow to the mountains.

IN CHAPEL HILL IT IS DRY RIGHT NOW BUT YOU WILL SEE A SPRINKLE IN THE NEXT HOUR OR SO. MID-40s THE THE VIRGINIA LINE. IT IS A NICE, MILD START TO THE MORNING. AT 7:00 A.M. YOU SEE SOME SHOWERS COMING IN. AT 11:00 WE ARE DONE WITH THE RAIN. AT LUNCH WE WILL SEE SOME CLEARING. THE TIMELINE ON THE CLEARING TODAY WILL BE VERY SIMILAR TO YESTERDAY. HIGHS THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE MID 60s. IT WILL BE A NICE DAY
