HENDERSON, N.C. — A 23-year-old man was charged Friday in connection with a Henderson shooting that killed three people in March 2018.

Henderson police officers on March 14 responded to 227 Harrell St., where they found Tyheem Shabazz Person, 27, and Dyrel Jermal Kittrell, 28, dead of gunshot wounds. A third person, identified as Devonte Jamal Jones, 21, was injured in the shooting and taken to a local hospital.

Antarious Harrington, 23, was charged Wednesday with murder in connection with the case.

Authorities said Harrington was already serving time in a North Carolina Department of Corrections facility in connection with an unrelated crime.

“Our investigators have worked tirelessly on this case over the past year to find the person responsible for this heinous act,” Henderson police said in a Facebook post Friday afternoon.

Authorities said the incident remains under investigation. Anybody with information is asked to call Henderson police at 252-438-4141 or Crime Stoppers at 252-492-1925.
