RALEIGH, N.C. — A man accused of photographing boys in a restroom at the North Carolina State Fair last week told investigators that it wasn't the first time he had done so.

Search warrants released Monday indicate that Paul William Fantz, 30, of 2930 Calliope Way, Apt. 103, confessed to using his cellphone to record boys using the bathroom at the fair and that he also told deputies that he uploaded recordings to his computer of other people doing the same at Five County Stadium in Zebulon.

Five County Stadium is the home of the Carolina Mudcats.

Fantz was arrested Oct. 27 after a male fairgoer reported to a deputy inside Dorton Arena that he saw a man recording people on his cellphone, according to search warrants released Monday for Vance's home, car and the tablet.

In addition to the tablet, investigators seized from Vance's home an iPod, a laptop and a desktop computer.

The warrants, however, do not indicate how many recordings there were at Five County Stadium or when they were taken.

Fantz faces nine counts each of second-degree exploitation of a minor, secret peeping and indecent liberties in connection with his Oct. 27 arrest.
